After an exhaustive search and diligent research, we found there are “no” documents from the past, about MCHNA. It is lost history. We have to begin with the current Executive Board.

The current Executive Board (Karen F., Juan, Jill, Karen S. and Jamilah) began with two goals:
1.Neighborhood Cleanup, and
2.Promoting community spirit, with
youth events and service projects.

We would like to present a list of accomplishments**
(** designates a “first” for MCHNA):

1. We hit the ground, running, in 2020, even with a pandemic. We have held 6 Board Meetings,** including the initial meeting, that included Officer Ralph Salazar, Code Compliance Officer
   Kenneth Mendez, and Maddie Gibbs, Fort Worth Liaison.** Each meeting had a “documented” agenda and minutes.**
2. A MCHNA Newsletter was created, distributed to neighbors and posted on Nextdoor
3. Our first focus was Neighborhood Cleanup, with the help of the the Chisholm Trail High School (CTHS) National Honor Society.**
4. There were 3 additional Cleanups, done by professional landscaping groups, and funded by an anonymous donor.**
5. Juan Sixtos launched a MCHNA website, mchna. org.** It is our source of information for the neighborhood.**
6. Juan and Karen Sixtos designed a copyrighted MCHNA Logo.**
7. We sponsored the First Neighborhood Children’s Parade/Bike-A-Thon on July 3, 2021.**
8. The Bike-A-Thon Preregistration elicited more monetary donations, for the event, as well as several volunteers.**
9. Materials from the Fort Worth Northwest Public Library were provided to us by Felipe Avitia. We were able to hand out those materials to families and children, in the neighborhood.**
10. We also sponsored the “Act of Kindness_From MCHNA” Project, July 2021.**
11. Juan Sixtos became President of MCHNA, July 2021.

Marine Creek Hills is a neighborhood in Fort Worth, Texas. Marine Creek Hills mostly features midsize homes that are very reasonably priced. This community dates back to 1987 and has continued to develop over the years. The North Boundary of the Marine Creek Hills Neighborhood Association is Heatherglen Terrace and Marina Del Road. The East Boundary is Bay Lake Drive. The South Boundary is Cromwell Marine Creek Road. The West Boundary is Bob Hanger Road.
